Refund Policy

 

1. Purpose

Ayanfe Rising Foundation (“the Foundation”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We rely on the generosity of donors to support our mission. This policy explains how we handle donation refunds and recurring contribution cancellations to ensure clarity and integrity in all giving transactions.

 

2. General Policy on Donations

All donations made to Ayanfe Rising Foundation whether online, by check, cash, or through fundraising events are considered final and non-refundable.

However, we recognize that errors can sometimes occur. Refunds will only be issued in the event of:

An accidental duplicate donation, an incorrect donation amount, or a processing error by the Foundation or our payment platform (Donorbox, Stripe, or PayPal).

Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the original donation date.

 

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email ayanferising@gmail.com with:

Your full name, the date and amount of the donation, the method of payment (credit card, PayPal, check, etc.), and a brief explanation of the error.

Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment, whenever possible.

If a tax receipt has already been issued, it will be voided, and you may need to adjust your tax filing accordingly. The Foundation cannot provide tax advice please consult your tax professional.

 

4. Recurring Donations (Monthly or Annual Giving)

Donors who set up recurring donations through Donorbox may cancel, change, or pause their contributions at any time by:

Logging into their Donorbox donor account (a link is provided in the donation confirmation email), or contacting us directly at ayanferising@gmail.com for assistance.

Cancellations will take effect before the next scheduled donation if received at least three (3) business days prior to the processing date.

No refunds will be issued for donations already processed before cancellation.

 

5. Tax Deductibility & Receipts

All contributions to Ayanfe Rising Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

If a donation is refunded, the associated tax-deductible receipt becomes invalid, and donors are responsible for correcting any related tax filings.
